This plan is compatible with central and local governmental policies. It is continuing the achievements of previous years. We emphasize on the water pollution’s inspection, sampling, evaluation and emergency response in Taoyuan City. During the period of the plan (Feb. 1st-Nov.30, 2022), for industries and Sewage Treatment Plant in the Industrial Zone, we took sampling quarterly and inspected total for 76 times. We handled four Experts and Scholars Evaluation meetings for controlled industrial zones. All relevant audit opinions are continuously tracked and been improved. We handled inspections of high-potential contaminated industries for more than 400 times and supplemented by sampling in order to learn about the current operational state of the industries’ wastewater treatment unit. We finished inspections of 200 specific factories’ registration to ensure that unlisted and controlled industries do not generate waste water and their operations were compliant with laws and regulations. We invited experts and scholars to deeply inspected 20 industries who had ever violated the laws. We strengthened the promotion of Animal Husbandry Manure Recycling Policy, and we completed confirmed 14 application lists of use plan for biogas slurry, residue and fertilizer. And confirming that five lists of recycling effluent water industries to reduce livestock wastewater discharge into water. We also did 112 industries’ inspections of Waste (sewage) water management plan. We followed Central Livestock Management Policy to comprehensively managed the feeding situation of livestock farms for less than 200 animals. Monthly we arranged water inspections to monitor water quality and pollution sources of various river basins within the jurisdiction of Taoyuan City, with EPA’s Water Quality Monitoring Station sampling works. Once the contamination was found, we immediately notified Department of Environmental Protection, Taoyuan. We filled in data on garbage rejection system of surface water monthly. Results shown division of works that we did more than 1,000 cross-bureau division jobs. We held various meetings, including one Self-Management Effectiveness Conference of the Industrial Zone, as well as three surface water response to assist the EPD grasp the current situation in real time and mobilize to clean it.
